About….Who We Are

Jim Hanks is no stranger to pavement sprint car racing. He is a former car owner fielding entries in the USAC National Sprint Car and Silver Crown Series and in the TBARA, HOSS and AVSS sanctioning body series.

Hanks founded the Must See Racing Series in 2010 selling it prior to the 2026 season due to health reasons. During his one-year hiatus, fortunately his rehabilitation has returned him to good health.

Highlights of his event promotions are extensive featuring FOX Sports, Speed Sport and MAVTV television event programming including a $10,000 to win winged pavement sprint car event at the famed Bristol Motor Speedway in 2011.

David Sink currently is a sprint car journalist, photographer and statistician managing the Social Media platform Pavement Pounders and is responsible for the National Sprint Car Rankings. In 2026 he was inducted into the prestigious Little 500 Hall of Fame . Over the years his work has been a mainstay in racing media outlets including Speed Sport, Sprint Car & Midget Magazine, Dirt Empire and Circle Track among many others.

Sink’s role in promotion isn’t just in racing media interest. From 2008-2015 he operated the International Outlaw Figure 8 Series (IOFS) and the Winged Outlaw Figure 8 Series (WOFS) featuring touring figure 8 late models in the Midwest.

Hanks and Sink have over 40 years combined experience participating in the racing industry.
